National Council of the Romanian National Minority

Pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 6, Article 10 and Article 13, paragraph 2, point 1 of the Law on National Minority Councils, as well as Articles 20 and 38 of the Statute of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, the Executive Committee of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, on 13.07.2026, announces the following:

C O N C O U R S

for financing – co-financing programs and projects of importance for the Romanian national minority in the field of culture.

The National Council of the Romanian National Minority will finance – co-finance projects and programs based on the Financial Plan, in the total amount of 500,000.00 dinars for:

• Organization of the Romanian Music and Folklore Festival from Vojvodina – Republic of Serbia.

General conditions of the competition

The right to participate is granted to:

• associations from the field of culture;
• other associations registered for cultural activities;
• other entities from the field of culture;
• other legal entities organizing cultural events of importance for the Romanian national minority.

1. Criteria for awarding funds

• compliance of the project with the requirements of the competition;
• the project must be of general interest for the Romanian national minority;
• the applicant must submit a report regarding the expenditure of funds received from the National Council during 2025;
• new applicants must submit a short description of previous activities (maximum one A4 page);
• activities that are already financed or will be financed from other sources will not be funded.

2. Application

The application must be submitted using a special form which is an integral part of the competition documentation and can be downloaded:

• on the website: www.cnmnr.org.rs
• at the headquarters of the National Council, Vaska Pope 16, Vršac;
• at the office, Dvorska 28, Vršac.

The following documents must be submitted together with the application:

• copy of the registration of the beneficiary of funds;
• basic information about the beneficiary;
• detailed description of the project/program;
• detailed financial structure;
• description of implementation methods;
• activity plan;
• project beneficiaries;
• implementation period;
• project description (maximum two pages);
• if necessary, printed, audio-video and other promotional materials;
• report on the expenditure of funds received during 2025 (if it has not already been submitted).

The deadline for submitting applications is: 17.07.2026.

The competition documentation will not be returned.

Applications submitted after the deadline, incomplete applications, applications sent by e-mail or fax, unsigned or uncertified applications, as well as applications from beneficiaries who have not justified previously received funds will not be considered.

The Culture Committee submits to the Executive Committee the proposal regarding the allocation of funds.

The Executive Committee adopts the decision on the allocation of funds within 8 days from receiving the proposal. The decision is confirmed at the first following session of the National Council.

Based on the adopted decision, the President of the National Council concludes a contract with the beneficiary of the funds, regulating the mutual rights and obligations, after which the approved funds are paid.
